Default Wreaked the ranger today... Might of bent the frame..

I hydroplaned today driving through town. I was going 40-45 and it slung me around and my back end whipped into the curb. It broke my tire off and bent the housing on the rear end. So I'm for sure gonna have to get a new rear end, but could this have totaled my truck? A guy was saying something that If it hit that hard it bent the frame? Is that possible?
I'm uploading pictures of the wreak to my profile right now.

not to be rude, but your very first post is "wrecked the ranger today" why no posts before?

I highly doubt your frame bent. Axle shaft will go first

I pretty much did the same thing but on gravel and I was going 55. Both driver side tires de-rimmed. Bent the back rim and axle shaft. Replaced the rim then got an axle shaft at a junkyard for $10. Rim was $50.

Like DJ hit on, check your springs & shackles. The springs should have absorbed any energy coming up from the axle. As long as you didn't hit with the body, your frame should be OK.

Thank y'all for the support. I just started looking at this forum recently and I really like it. I still haven't really figured out how to work everything yet, so bare with me. Lol. I'm only 18 and a ranger addict already. Haha

I got hit from behind by someone going 45 while I was at a dead stop, the only thing that happened is my bumper bet down and my frame barely got tweaked. After a shop straightened my frame and slapped a bumper on, my truck is as good as new.
