Might go look at this truck this week. It's a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4. He hasn't gotten back to me yet but can you guys tell if the says "off road" under the 4x4 decal? Let me get some of your opinions on the truck. Miles look low. Not super pumped about the color, looks purple? Thanks in advance!

It does have the offroad package. Speaking from experience, look for a truck with a 4.0 if you want some more power. My truck is virtually the same as that one and its quite sluggish. I think the color is navy blue.

The 3.0 needs a new cam synchro around 100k miles...ask if it's been done, with receipts to prove it...also, it looks black or dark blue....If I were you, I'd keep looking for something with less miles and a 2.3 for gas mileage, or a 4.0 if you need power

Definitely talk him down in price. I'm about to buy a gen 1 Lightning with 117k for 4000. Way too overpriced.

The color looks like Deep Wedgewood Blue. In the shade it looks dark blue, at night, black. In bright sun, it's got a purple-ish tint to it.

Look at the bright side, though, it has electric start. Those pull-start V-6's are terribly inconvenient!!
