basically i wanted to get some opinions on lifts and tires. this is my first truck and i know i wanna lift it and im thinkin 3-5 inches and 33-35s which seem to be the standard lol not sure whether i wanna go for mileage and get km2s or just throw some swampers on her. it is my daily driver.. swampers? nittos? km2? bfg? lift 3'-5'?

if its ur daily drivers 35s out of the question 3.0 dont get gas milage as it is i would get 33s and stop. swampers are not made for daily driving so those are out of the question too. im looking at ur signature and dont see if your 2wd or 4x4 which one is it?

if its your daily, stay away from swampers, they will wear out in no time
nittos are loud as hell, and the price is up there
i run km2s and will be getting another set in 33"s withn a week or so here, they are an awsome tire
bfg all terrians work well too, much better in snow than km2s (i suggest buying a winter set of tires if you go with km2s )

how much will you be offroding with it?

I went with 32"km2s on my dd, they aren't super loud like swamped, they last and they are great in mud. But if you live in snow prone areas you'll want some winter tires

I also run KM2s as a daily. Great road manners. Quiet tire and good in wet and slush. However like others said they do kinda suck in snow but most mud tires arent that great in snow.

Also maybe think of regearing with 33s and 3.0. My 99 3.0 with just 31s and 3.73 gears was a dog and only got about 15-16 mpg. It didnt like the hills very much either.

yeah mine are about 5 summers old, didnt keep track of kms, but i deffinatly had some premature wear, but regardless eveyone that has had them say they get louder with wear. deffiatly queiter than the original kms though.. besides i actually dont mind louder tires.

Same for me, I only have 2000 miles on mine, but the louder they are I like them more. It's just a point of a mud tire, to be loud.
