03 ranger edge, back slider leaking

with a back slider glass, its leaking, does anyone know where to find a seal or how to fix the leak? it will be GREATLY APPERICIATED!!!

Where exactly is it leaking? Have you tried using some silicone sealant to temporarily fix it

no silicone, its leaking all along the top, i got one of those buddies that know everything, and he unbolted the top and pulled out the top of the glass and it has some type of adhesive seal, then he didnt know what to do. so now im stuck

soory that i didnt mention that i replaced the third brake light, sucker cost me 80 bucks, but thats what i was hoping it was

it very well could be the window leaking. just replaced the seal on my buddys ranger. the seal is a butyl rubber seal called round butyl tape. you can get it at auto paint and body supply stores. it comes in a roll and costs about $15 for a roll of it. one roll is more than enough to do the window. just remove the window, clean off the old seal and apply the new one and put the window back in. wouldnt hurt to check the 3 brake light though first. i use the same butyl tape to seal my third brake light, never had a leak.
