Moved the lift shocks brackets on the lid up higher and put on longer ones. At first I looked at it and wondered why someone would want to raise the mounts cuz that would make the lid open not as far, but then I realized they were a little bit longer

Damn, that didn't take long either. You guys are good lol

Yeah, I took out the struts that came in the box, and fab'd up some new alum mounts last night at school for the expo rear glass struts to be installed. So far they hold the lid up much nicer, I can almost throw the lid up instead of having to slowly help it all the way up with the old struts. Plus they're longer. I might actualy think about using the even bigger struts on the rear hatch of the expo's, but these will do for now.

The black is just carbon from the MIG machine I was using. The Miller 350P is freakin amazing. I buzzed those brackets on in like 5 minutes! Hardest part was using the shear and press break on something that small!

If anyone has an idea on where to buy upgraded replacement shocks, that would be helpful. I'm looking for the direct replacement shocks, with a lil more pressure so all I have to do is help it up from the latch and it'll fling open.
