iS IT POSSIBLE TO FIT A 2002 OR NEWER FRONT BUMPER ON A 2001 FORD RANGER XLT? I LIKE THE FACT THAT THE EDGE AND SOME OTHERS MODELS HAVE THE FOGLIGHT BUMPER. i WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT LOOK SINCE I DONT HAVE FOG LIGHTS AT ALL AND DONT WANT ANY AFTER MARKET LOOK.


So again can i do a swap? If not is their a 2001 where I can have the front bumper from? thks

Yes it is possible, 01-05 would be prefect, you would just need the valance and the bumper.

when you say valance are you saying the piece thats holds the foglights?

yes it will fit, the edge valance is wider as it wraps up and around the bumper wo it would stick out.....it would blend into the fender flares, you may not have them then it looks bad

On the upside my neighbor has a 2003 frod ranger edge and the interior like door panels/seats/ all interior are interchangeable and goes up to the 2005. I was happy since i get all the stuff for free. I will be visiting the ford recycler tomorrow as they have a leather interior ford ranger. woohoo... it s on babai.

The EDGE has flares so the valance and bumper wrap a little wider out than the XLT to match up with the flares.

u can use the edge bumper and the stock xlt bumper just cut off the top pieces, plenty of people have done it looks good

He meant you can use your stock bumper and the EDGE valance, you would just have to cut the tabs on the valance where it goes up around the bumper.

See how the first one the chrome wraps to the wheel and the second one the chrome does not wrap as far since the valance comes up.

nice very nice. i have been looking for a edge valance and unable to find one as of yet. is their anyplace to find one? and how would i add fogs when mine dd not come with them? thks again

The wiring for the fogs is usually already there, just need to get the lights and a switch. you can get a radio bezel out of another model ranger/explorer/mazda b-series that already has the fog light button.
