Freaking people these days!
So I was heading to the bowling alley with some friends about 11:30 last night. While going up a hill with a bend in it a car coming towards me started flashing there lights so yeah I thought there's a cop up the road so I get near the top of the hill and my buddy yells oh shit look out sure enough some jack ass dropped an 8 foot latter and bam ran right over it and it cracked one of the joints in my tail pipe luckily enough " as far as I know" that may have been the only damage but I'm not to sure I was going 45 when I hit it. I figure it's about a 50 dollar fix ill post a picture tomorrow of where it is and hopefully id anymore possible damages to my under carriage. So if anyone knows how I can just do it myself even though its probably a simple fix just let me know and thanks everyone keep driving them FORD! Danger rangers!!!!

Re: Freaking people these days!
Ouch! Glad it was no serious damage, though!
I've been noticing more & more "stuff" in the roads the past few years( ladders, tool boxes, shop vacs, even a 7 ft tall propane patio heater once). I dunno if people are just too lazy to tie it in/on, or just so stupid they think there's a magic unicorn to hold things for them.

Re: Freaking people these days!
True but it's small and not meaning to be stupid or nothing but besides hearing the air come out when hitting the gas harder the rumble sounds cool as hell lol

You old farts.
Hopefully thats all the damage there is. People lose things all the time and don't want to stop to pick it up. I saw a topper that had blown off someone's truck the other day. Right in the middle of the interstate.

Re: Freaking people these days!
Yea? Well Someone (I'm thinking a semi) left a 4x6 (4ft height) metal box in the middle of a lane on a highway. Was a part where there wasn't any street lighting, lucky I saw it & stopped, was in the middle of the night btw, around 2am.
That would of completely fuck someone's car up, I just called the police & let them know & they can take care of it, didn't want anyone to hit it, could easily of killed someone.

Re: Freaking people these days!
if i was you id sort it before it gets worse otherwise what could have been a cheap fix might end up being a whole new system, tried that last month ended up with just a downpipe for 3 days after going through roadworks and the whole thing falling off
