1998 Ranger Body Bolts
So, I am in the process of doing a 3 inch body lift on my 1998 ford ranger and i have the box done and lifted, when i started to do my cab, i found that when i go to unbolt the back body mount bolts in the back, everything spins. What should i do? Also, i gave up with the back bolts and went to do the passenger side bolt in the cab, i snapped the bolt off. Any suggestions on the easiest way to get them out? I am willing to buy new rubber mounts. So ruining the stock ones isn't a problem. PLEASE HELLPP!! thank you!

Re: 1998 Ranger Body Bolts
I sprayed them down with PB blaster for an hour.. but it didnt help lol, i was thinking maybe taking a saw zaw and cutting the rubber boot and the bolt to get the bolt to drive through+

Re: 1998 Ranger Body Bolts
An hour isnt enuff....i sprayed mine down twice a day for two weeks..then i used a torch and heated them up and cracked them all loose and removed some and cleaned the threads and then put them back in...and then the following week i did the lift..so i knew all my bolts would be ready and easier to remove and save me alot of time and headache the day of the lift..
Preparation is key....dont just try to tackle it all in one weekend....
