Okay I wanna start for apologizing if I put this in the wrong spot, but I looked around and this looked best. Anyways. I just purchased a Perf. Acc. Body lift and it didn't come with a fuel filler neck extension! Does that mean I don't need one? Or are they a bunch if monkeys? It sounds simple to make if I have to but I want to have the parts before I start the install, rather that finding out half way through.

I made mine with a steel tube from a branch cutter cause it didnt fit and yes you need one

Okay so I called PA today to see what was up. And it looks like I don't need an extension. Now it sounds like he is wrong since I see so many posts/forums talking about them. Anyways. My be question is if I'm gonna make one, what is the diameter of the filler neck so I can buy some metal pipe at local Home Depot. Thanks.

I think my extension was 1" or 1 1/4"

Does the extension go on the inside if the preexisting tube or outside?

yes you need an extension. cut the fuel hose in half and find a 5in pipe to stick in it and hose clamp both ends.

Thats wierd the kit didnt have the extensions? Mine had two a large one and a smaller one cuz i have two hoses..

Some say u dont need the extensions cuz theres enuff slack there....but mine didnt have enuff so i needed them.
Do that last and try to see if it will reach and work before u cut the hose(s).
