Cool 07 XL 2WD Lift?

I have an 07 Ranger, I think its an XL but I dont know. Vinyl seats and floors, blah blah. Its 2 wheel drive with the 4 cyl 2.3 L engine. Can I lift it? I don't want to lower it. I want an offroad look on it because its my first truck.

you need longer shocks for the back bstein makes some and rancho and some other companies too bilstein is best tho. i would also recommend changing balljoints ucas and sway bar links while you have everything off.

----------

and dont worry about it being sluggish i have an 03 xl 2wd singlecab lifted with doetsch spindles and shackles in the rear with 31s and it's not sluggish at all but i do have a manual teansmission and 4.10 gears though. but i drove it for 20,000 miles with the 3.73 gears and the lift and it was perfectly fine the only reason i re-geared was for towing my boat around. the truck runs like an champ.

Whats the easiest way? I'm only 18 and this is my first truck. I don't know much about truck mechanics. I want something me and my dad can do over the weekend.
