Default Another HID thread

Just wanted to share my experience. I purchased an HID kit from DMM tuning. It is their 6000k hi/low 9007 kit. The price after shipping and tax was $65. The only down fall was the kit shipped from China and it took 9 business days to get.

When I got the kit in I ripped the tiny box open (sorry no pics) and there we no instructions what so ever but if you somewhat understand the 12 volt electrical system it is very easy. The kit seems to be very high quality and was a true plug and play set up, no splicing or removing wire loom. The only issue I ran into was inserting the bulbs into the headlight housing. I had to knock off two of the alignment pins to get it to seat properly which isn't a big deal because of the retaining ring that holds the bulb to the housing.

The performance was better than I anticipated, not too much scatter from the stock housing and they look great! I have only one pic so far but I'll get more tonight .

It seems people have good luck with the DDM kits.

Just to warn you, a bunch of people are going to come in here and tell you to get projectors.
