i did calculus 1&2 and i had a constant headache if a paid any attention during class

You can figure out a way to bolt them to the bottom of the hood and have slack in the wire, so they come up with hood when you open it. There is a couple bolt locations last time I checked, maybe even running something from the hinges as a last resort.

looks good. i want to add a unity spot light (police light) to mine, had one on my XJ and miss that thing, love that you can aim it when wheeling at night

Looks good, Jake. I put mine up next to the cowl. I didn't want it to be in the way of anything and I figured it would look cleaner.
For my material, I used 2" angled steel at 1/8" thick. I wanted something at solid as possible that would fit between the body panels. It works out great. No bounce in the lights at all. I had to use bolts because, sadly, i don't have my own welder, yet. It was a bit of a design challenge, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

I took day pictures, finally. I'll get them up before I call it a day.
