Default Step Bars

Ok, I’ve got my bug guard and window vents installed. My next step is Step Bars, anyone have a pic of a standard cab 2wd with step bars?

Either or both, just trying to see if this is something I really want to do. Would like to see black oval steps.

I got a 2003 Edge edition and I got the OEM nerf bars on it. Not great pics but I can take some better ones later. Ive personally never seen a aftermarket set of nerf bars for the ranger that look better than these. Black steel tubing with hexagonal shape design hardened plastic in the step area.

After school and work ill try to get a few close ups of it.

My OEM step bars work great for getting the back of my pants dirty in the winter!! Mine are starting to get a bit of surface rust, but they have seen 8 years of Iowa salt. I imagine you wont have either one of these issues in florida

Default Re: Step Bars

I found these:

And these:

Both are stated by the auctions that they fit a standard cab...

I have a stepside bed 2001 XLT. And was wondering which might look best. I can't seem to find any pictures of standard cab rangers with step bars? I won't use them honestly I just really like how they look on the truck... My wife would probably use them more than me but that's cause I'm 6'2"

the top ones are newer stye but they do look a lot bigger in length....

EDIT:
I think i found the top bars on a newer standard cab:

Those don't seem to look right to me at all...

These sort of look like the second picture of the smaller ones?

thanks,
-Nigel
