brand new 2009 xlt, was looking into adding a black brush guard what year brush guard would fit the truck any ideas all of the 09 brush guards are over 400 that I have seen?????? Also looking into lifting the truck 3 inches front and back whats the best suspension lift kit to obtain????

Pretty sure any brush guard from 98 to present will fit. Best bet to find a cheaper one would be craigslist and/or ebay.

Hmm. Well just googling it looks like something may have changed after 05, I know they got rid of the metal bumpers and now have plastic bumper covers instead and you can no longer easily toss some light tabs on. But I am not 100%.

Tom , cmon I have a ford why would I look for another Models brush guard, I'm just trying to see if another years model fits on my vehicle so i dont have to spend as much

Try WAAG.com : Grille Guards, Truck Racks, Plasma Cutting, Powder Coating & Tube Bending. I think 04 or -05 and up will fit. They fit my 07.
