Default Light Bars
I'm thinkin about getting a Recon Light bar. I was just wondering if anyone had any pictures of theirs... this was the one i'm planning on getting.

well just a hint, if you do get one, or anything from recon, when it asks if you have a promotional code, type "FB15". that's for if your a fan of their facebook page, you get 15% off. haha. as much as i would like to... they may get a little suspicious when i buy 14 light bars... haha. Sorry man. I know i'm not the only one on here that works at a car dealership so i'm sure others have a discount. And any way, the 15% off promotional code would have been good enough for me.

do those light bars just plug into your brake lights? or do you have to run wires for them?

Should plug right in to your trailer harness, but you can also wire it into the wires to the harness.

It's all hooked up. If you do it the half ass way, it only takes just a few minutes.. We'll hard wire it in later, but right now it's just plugged into the exsisting towing harness. Looks good i think.

Looks great, I love mine it really lights up my back end at night. Does yours light up with just the running lights? I've seen some on trucks that do but mine never has, then again I have issues getting the trailer to light up with just running lights so it could be a problem with my harness.

yeah. they light up with just the running lights. but they also blink with the turn signals, get brighter when i break, get white in reverse. it does everything. they're sweet. i'm excited.

guess its just mine then, they do everything but running lights...my weekend project may be to hard wire them in then.
