Default Ford Ranger XLT stepside rear end panels?

I just bought a used 2000 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab stepside. It has some minor damage I want to repair with the body around the rear fenders on both sides but I wondered if I could do it myself by buying the panels and having them painted. I have been looking for a solid bed body with no success online. Does anyone have any recomendations for me?

You cant get new panels for the step sides, cause there fiberglass. Check junk yards.

And post pics of damage. You may be able to fix it.

Im not exactly sure how they mount to the bed or if its all one piece, but those bedsides you just posted may work.

And posting links to other forums or venders isnt against the rules.

----------

Oh and $300 dollars for just one is not worth it. Id defiantly call or go check JYs around you.

Not sure why you couldnt buy new ones just because of the material but im sure there are a few companies like the one in the link he posted. I may be wrong but arent the beds a three piece design?

Put a dash between ranger and forums. Take the space out between forums and the period. For some reason this forum and RF don't like linking eachother.

==================
You CAN still purchase them NEW from Ford, but they are like $800/side.

The COMPLETE bed is no longer available through Ford and when it was, it was $3700.

I sold one last year that needed lil' cosmetic work for $300, just to give you an idea............

GOOD LUCK!

Here are some pictures I hope to quickly make my (before) shots. As I said you can see the damage to the drivers rear fender is the worst. However, it may not be far beyond some patchwork. I just want uniformity if it means the difference in a hundred bucks or so. And the other side is damaged as well just not as evident.

thanks everyone for the advice, by the way.
