If you want to get creative and are handy you could make a mount that's attached to your bumper or even your frame that comes out near the bottom of the grill and up (holding them in front of the grill).

I've also never seen fishing rods attached to a grill (or anywhere on the front of a vehicle) before.

I made this awhile back for a jeep you could bolt rod holders right to a basket if you wanted

The fine print, of course, is that it doesn't mount to the grille. It mounts to the bumper IN FRONT OF the grille.

It different, but a homemade one would be cheap and easy. A couple of C-clamps, steel strap and some pipe -BOOM! You're done.

Temporary and removable.

Ummm i would hate to see a vehicle driving down the highway with fishing poles and lures sticking out the front like that.
In Mn its illegal to have items hanging from the rear view mirror becuz it obstructs view...i cant imagine a pile of fishing poles sticking up in front of my hood and grille would be legal!

Hell why stop at fishing poles....put a gun rack up there!!

Make something that can attach to a front mounted receiver hitch

Yeah I've seen quite a few on Jeep forums.
Personally, I have a 54"x72" rodholder right behind the cab. Came with the truck.
