I parked it in the wrong place my friend.... haha. Yeah. Long story short. Some drunk bitch hit my parked truck. (that's what i refer to her as) But yeah. that damaged happened with my truck being parked and her going down a lane at about 45-50 mph.. Yeah. I wasn't tooo happy.

its not that bad just needs some time on the frame machine my wife mountaineer was bent over 10 in and 3hs on my buddys frame machine and good to go

Body shop quoted me 3050 for the whole deal. The front left frame horn is bent but fixable. Haven't gotthe go ahead from my insurance, but I don't think they will total it. I'll update as It goes along

trust me man. the thought went through my head. but i didn't wanna get into trouble as well. Even tho i probably coulda gotten away with it now i think about it. but hey. you live and learn. And i learned one thing.. Call the police. haha. Cause i should be in a fully loaded 2010 Ford Ranger with 2 miles on it, instead i got a used 2001 with 48,xxx on it. Nothing wrong with it but i'd rather have the 2010 truck..

Are you kidding me?!?! 3 grand to fix that lil bit of damage??? Wow damn sure glad I know my way around a shop, internet, and my toolboxes cuz I did way more damage to mine and all parts come to about 700 for a whole new front end. I have her stripped down right now so the collision place wont try to charge for fixing everything just the frame. As soon as I can get a factory replacement for my effed up tranny oil cooler i will update on the price to fix it.

So I'm a bit concerned. The wiring harnesses are different For the turn signals between the two years. Do.I need to mod the harness or chop in pieces from the 01+ harness?

her insurance company gave me about 7 grand for my old truck.. so we weren't totally screwed. still had to pay like 2 grand outta pocket, which we shouldn't have, but oh well.

They will total it most likely. Mine was mainly cosmetic -Front and rear bumper, headlight, parking light, taillight, bedside, tire, grill. Only non-cosmetic was a tie-rod and they gave me the option to total it out. It also depends on the insurance companies. They range from 70-80% of the trucks value. I chose to total mine out because I had gap insurance. It paid the truck off and I bought the title back for $745. Now it is getting modded out and will be a great toy/daily driver. I have pics of the damage being added in a bit.

Well, got the parts in and painted. Got the honeycomb grill, forgot to order the emblem, should be here tomorrow. Grabbed a bumper and valance off of an 03 fx4. its all coming together pretty well. should be done by the end of the week. Still waiting for the windshield to come in. Ill take some pics tomorrow when I get back to the shop.

cant wait to see it also. you don't need a new wiring harness for the blinkers. all you need is an EP27 LED flasher to replace the relay under the dash. with that replaced, you can pull one one of your un-needed blinker bulbs from each side and have it flash without "hyperflash" i just did the conversion on mine and it worked like a charm haha

Well one thing I've noticed is that there aren't any/many rangers in the amazon green that have anything but the old xl/t bumpers. Haven't seen the edge/fx4 in my color so I am real excited!
