Question Bumper Question

Will the rear bumper from a 97 Exploder fit a 98 Ranger. A friend has an old exploder rotting in his parents yard and said I can have the bumper, but I don't want to drive an hour and a half there if it's gonna be a no go you know.I guess if worse comes to worse I could measure the frame on my ranger and check it with the measurements of the Exploder frame. Just thought someone here might know. Any help would be much appreciated. I am new here so thanks guys.

Pretty sure the frames are different widths...but I am not 100% on that.

You are 100% correct.

The rear portion of the frame is no where the same. The Explorer rear portion is wider than a Rangers. That is one reason why the Explorer rear springs sit UNDER the frame instead of beside it like the Rangers.
