I'm looking for a new cap for my 05 xl long bed, if possible the hi rise flat which would give me 6" more head room; any ideas let me know

NO such thing as a Ranger with an 8 ft bed, I don't know who told you that BS. The 7 ft bed was only available in a regular cab, so they weren't popular.
