Default Headlight adjustment

Any ideas on how to gauge up-down,side to side on head lights?

This is only a temp fix til I can get them properly adjusted.

Live near Chicago and usually carry a few hundred lbs of what ever weighs a few hundred lbs til snow season is over(some years around March,April).Never noticed a problem in past years, but I have been getting "flashed" alot by on comming drivers lately.Shocks and or springs might be pooped out.

Should I try to adjust them or just take the time and spend the dough to have it done by the pros?

I think I just answered my own question.Afraid if I go messing around they will turn out like Marty Feldman's eyes. Sure hate to cause grief to someone that doesn't deserve it.

Anyone ever try it anyway?

Just adjust them down a little at a time and see how they shine on the road. It won't take much to take them down out of the glare range of oncoming traffic. There is NO REASON AT ALL to pay someone to do this.
