| | Remove Mud Flaps
Dumb question.... How do I take the mudflaps off my 05 ford ranger?

There are 2 little bolts holding it at the top I wanna say like 5mm

I found those two put is looks like there are a couple little rivets.... Whats the best way to remove them?

Hmm...do you have a pic? On my 05 it was just a couple bolts. You will have a hole in the fender afterward, but you dont really notice.

There is a push pin holding it to the fender just pull really hard and it will come off

Or cut the head off of those "christmas tree fasteners", remove flap, push remaining christmas tree through fender and watch it fall to the ground.
I assume since the OP has those christmas tree fastenders, he doesn't have flares.

I didn't plan on taking mine off, but backing into a short snowbank made it real easy for me.

Okay....since I'm tired of blahblahblah...here goes...
Steppie flaps are the same as non-flare flaps on stylesides. 03-05 Fx4 Off Road models were available with steppie beds and all steppies had no flares. I think mcpink and a few other members have Fx4 steppies here in the states.

Sorry guys forgot to check the tread again last night.... Mine is a regular bed, non stepside. I did manage to get the flaps off. Two bolts and the little pin and they popped off

yeah..styleside with flares it's just like 3 screws. no christmas trees.
