4wd is like a condom. i'd rather have it and not need it rather tan needing it and not having it!

in my case it does not.. the bike is so wide it rolls right over the wells. and fits securely in each corner of the truck. and as you can see with the stock wheelbase i can close the tailgate.

ive hauled some 4x4 bigger bikes honestly i could care less if the bed gets banged up its my truck and specifically its the bed. its used to haul stuff and do it frequently.

maybe i should start a thread about how beatup our trucks can get through normal use not abuse..

Hey i know this is old, but others also might be wondering about the hauling of a quad in t ford ranger. I have a Honda Foreman 450 that i am able to haul in my 1999 ford ranger, tailgate stays down as it is just a tad to long wth my tires. I have to place 6x6 boards infront of the front tires to allow the winch room, and not to hit my window.
