Lightbulb Plasti-Dip?

After doing some research about "Plasti-Dip", I believe am gonna put this stuff to the test on my Ranger...

My ideas for now are Plasti-Dipping my front valance and top part of my rear bumper. Feel free to give me your opinions and other suggestions. Thanks!

Plastidip is a great product. But honestly I would just use reguler spray paint for those pieces. If you step on your bumper it will start to peel eventually, reguler paint won't.

Okay, what would be the best paint for them? Should I also apply a coat of clear?

Dupicolor or krylon. Lots of coats and lots of clear. You can gather all the prep work ect from searching. If I have enough time I'll try to dig up a few threads about it.

Didn't feel like looking that hard so I'll just explain.

-wipe down with rubbing alchol, don't get any oil/grease on them(from hands) spray them with a lot of light even coats of black, again with clear.- and there ya go

I just put black plsati dip on my bumpers and wheels and it looks really good. But my only concern is how well will it hold up in the winter and going through car washes. Anyone know?

Ive had it on my wheels since summer of last year. And been through 1 carwash. And washed it myself many of times. It still looks like it did the day i sprayed it.

I usually just use the tire dressing. 2birds with one stone. But if that works go for it.

I was just trying to think of something that would start to eat away at it and just kind of basically be mostly water.

Looks nice. I want to do that exact thing with my stock rims with leaving the center cap chrome.
