Default Re: Plasti-Dip?

How does plastidip hold up to tire changers? Would it be better to do a set of wheels then put tires on or the other way around?

Put the tires on first, I did mine before tho but I left the ring around the outside so it won't get damaged!

Its better to have the tires put on first. You can spray without having to mask the tire off, which I have seen some video do, but I taped mine off. Doing multiple layers allows a connection to dry between the wheel and tape and eventually rips up the edge when taking it off. Try one wheel first and see what works better.

How durable is plastic dip, I'm thinking about the tan part oft interior red, and doing my part of my bill bar. Does it scratch chip easy?
