Really I prefer the stock look but the clear coat was peeling really bad and the rims themselves were pitting. I do like it and it turned out better than I thought it would, but when I can find some of these rims For a good price ill definitely be buying them.

Yeah I wouldn't say they look better than chrome but they look better than rusty and pitted wheels. Plus it's alot cheaper than getting new wheels.

I cleaned my wheels and let that dry then i used note cards and stuck them between the tire and wheel that way the tire didn't get plasti dip on them and it's easy then taping the entire tire and then i put painters tap in the valve and applied about 4 coats to each wheel. About 30 minutes in between each coat unless it was still a little wet and then i waited longer. I left my hub caps off and left the chrome. You can get the plasti dip at home depot or lowe's. I can't remember which I got it from.

Can you post some pics of the finished project? I'm looking to do the same and would like to see how it turned out.

I also used a can of lens tint on my tail lights, back cab light and fog lights.

Yeah, I might give it a try. Plus, if I don't like the look on mine, I can always peel it off. That's a good thing about Plasti-Dipping. I might do it before I put these bad boys on my truck...

My buddy has had them on his cherokee for about a year and a half. On his rims bumpers all the way around. No peeling runs it through the wash all the time. It holds up well, and he even makes stencils and uses it for window decals. They look great!
