Missing wheel well liner piece... name?
No idea what it's called.. snap-on inner liner? Anyway, just noticed it's missing on the front driver's side. I bought the truck in August, and somehow didn't see that it was missing. I know..
If someone could give me the name of this part, I'd like to get it before the heavy rains and snow arrive. Been very lucky to have only driven the truck on dry days so far.
Thanks.

Re: Missing wheel well liner piece... name?
I noticed mine was missing also,on my 06.
I went to Ford and they said,Ford DID NOT put them on that side. They had no clue WHY?
The holes are there for them already ,so go figure!Another FORD mistake!!
So,if we want them,we'll have to make our own.

Just got an email from the nearest Ford dealer regarding this part:
"The driver’s side splash shield is not available from Ford, the parts catalog mentions that the part is not required."
Strange indeed.. this is beyond "bare minimum" in my opinion. Doesn't look right without it, required or not.

Re: Missing wheel well liner piece... name?
The Rangers used to come with two full size splash shields - then for a bit they went to one full size & one smaller sized one (about half the size). Then, after that - they ditched the one altogether.
Many people have ordered the splash shield for the passenger side and then just reversed the shield & push pins so it works on the driver’s side - or like what was already mentioned, make your own by even tracing the drivers side.

Re: Missing wheel well liner piece... name?
I too thought i was missing the big fender shield on the drivers side of my 04 Edge. I went to the ford parts catalog on line and found the part # 16102 but what you get is a smaller piece for the drivers side vs the large part for the passenger side. You will see that the pass. side is $23.58 while the dr. side is $17.98. and actually you will need two, you can flip the one around to use in the frt hole and the other snaps into the back hole. The ford book doesnt show the dr. side pic of it, so I was like WTH when I picked it up. This flap/shield will lay over the upper control arm, but not cover the shock. Hopes this helps, if you want let me know and i can take a pic fo you.

We don't happen to carry that particular part. You might want to check your local salvage yard to see if there's a truck in there with one on it.
