Tow hooks
Anyone with a body lift and having any ideas how to get tow hoks back in?

you'll have to modify your mounts...requires some welding! How, i dk, but i have heard thats what you have to do.

Figure out how to modify your existing ones, or make new ones. Or if you don't care about your valence, cut it.

If you've got a towhook sitting in front of you removed from the truck and an imagination, knowing the hook itself needs to raise up 3", figuring it out isn't that hard at all.
Your vintage of truck should have had big huge cast hooks. Modding those is impossible. You need the "loop" kind that all 01+ trucks have. Maybe some 00 trucks got'em...idk.

on your truck i would just cut the valance, or if you like to offroad you will prob end up knocking it off and running it over like i have done so many times, i gave up on putting it back on, also i swapped my cast hooks for level II hooks

I would like to do that as soon as i get a BL and some tow hooks and some tires and some people who will help me make those tow hooks useful.
