Default brakelamps out help

so my lights dont come on when I press the brake but they flash with the hazards on. checked/replaced fuses per manual and they still wont come on. so the question is what is the logical progression do get this fixed?
all fuses good w/ correct amps
bulbs good since they flash with hazards
anything else i should check besides wires?

Mmmm other than the wires I'd say pull the flasher switch out and clean it. Try to giggle it a bit (pull it out and put back it) and see if it works.

Behind the brake pedal.

You know its bad when your brake lights don't work and you are 100% sure its nothing else. I.E. fuses, bulbs, wiring..
