Default Opinions Needed: Protech Rack

Ok so i'm considering buying a protech rack and mounting some KC's on it. Here are the different things I have considered doing. 4 KC's mounted on the top of the bar all facing forward. possibly the two outer KC's on top facing at a 45% to the sides to light up the sides of the trails and stuff. two KC's mounted below the bar facing backwards (like tre has on his). all of that is expensive as hell and i dunno i think it might be too much to get it all. I'm open to any ideas yall have and let me know what you think would look best
thanks

Might want to consider the type of trails you generally drive. Lights mounted that high are just asking to be broken by low hanging tree branches. If trees aren't a concern then I say go with four lights two facing to the front and two angled out to the sides. You might wanna look at the smaller rectangle lights to. Sometime I think they look better than the circle ones. Also don't get Kc's they are over priced. You can get some pro comps which are comparable for a fraction of the price.

Eh i can get two 6" KC's installed for 120 so i'll probably just get KC's. And yeah i dont go on trails that have low trees. I'm normally at big open mud pits and stuff. There aren't any good trails down here. I agree the two center lights facing forward and the two on the outside facing at 45% angles to the side would look beast i think. i might get two rectangle ones and have them hanging down below the bar rear facing but i don't know yet

When and if you order it, be sure to have them add light tabs to it. PM TrePaul86 for pics of how his reverse ones are mounted. I believe they're about a $20 option? idk.

And fwiw, two sideways facing 45* would leave big gaps of light depending on what kind of lenses you're running(long, driving, fog, etc).

x2 on the lense selection. I would go with a flood style. Lets you see your full suroundings a little better than a driving style.

Lol, to me lights are lights... If they "light up" w/e your trying to light up, thier gettin the job done. Its not like ur gonna see better w/ KC vs an off brand using the same wattage but for a quarter of the price. Plus w/ an off brand you can get more of them and if one busts its not the end of the world.. Jus my $0.02

Id buy the bar, then save up a while for a good set of 4 lights on the top. I'd do the rear facing lights last, as a third stage.
