Default Retarded Question

Ok i know this is gonna sound very retarded but im having a brain fart, what is the cylindrical thing that is above the spare tire?

I'm assuming you're talking about the mount?? Has a cylinder w/ ears to hold the tire and then the device on the bottom of the bed that holds the cord to you can raise/lower it?? Pics if that's not it...

I think he's talking about the cylinder thats attached to the fuel system, think it has something to do with emissions control.

I think he's referring to the carbon canister, part of the evaperative emission control system. It's supposed to keep the gas fumes from the tank out of the atmosphere.

Haha no not the exhaust, ill put pictures up but its the cylindrical thing thats above the spare that looks like a compressor tank but I know its not.
