Default paint job

Im thinking of painting my truck white..what y'all think??Ive asked around nd they said maybe 1000 dollars tops??anybody know prices??

White is the best color on a ranger. I might be biased.

I don't know why people think this to be true.

Aside from gold colors, white is the easiest to keep clean. You can never tell when mine needs a washing, aside from the tires. White never shows the dirt.

black is the HARDEST to keep clean i have to wash mine 3-4 times a week to keep it nice looking

Agreed,, you can go a few weeks without washing a white vehicle,, black,, hmm not so long, maybe 3 or 4 days

a complete color change, done to factory standards is going to cost more than a grand. probably more around $3-5k. to do the color change right, all the jams and under hood need to be done, the truck needs to be disassembled, etc.

Mods: plastidipped grill and header panel, Throttle cable mod, aftermarket projector headlight and corners, Alpine CDA-105 Headunit, 2 MTX TS82 8" subs in trick boxes, strobe lights on front of truck. K&N drop in filter, 2.5" exhaust after catalytic converter to a Thrush Welded muffler, pipe exits at stock location.

I went down to a local body shop to see what they wanted for a new quarter panel with paint and install. They wanted a little over $1500. looks like I am learning how to paint soon which will be fun.

Sure Maaco will paint the truck white for $1000 but you get what you pay for.
Plus repainting the truck a different color than original will destroy the resale value. Only a retard would repaint a 3 year old vehicle if the original paint is still like new.

Yeah around here a basic same color job at a good reputable shop, 2500 3500 and color change throw a nother 1500 pluss at it
