Default 2wd 98 ranger lift options

Hey guys I have a 98 2wd ranger and was wondering what's the best way to clear 31s. I don't want a body lift or suspension because its 2wd but is there any other options? Thanks.

Your only options are body or suspension. You could do a 3 inch body lift. And for suspension lifts you could do 3 inch spindles or coil spacers for front and rear shackles, aal, blocks.

lol thats really the only two options....U can either lift the body of the suspension.....but i think the easiest thing would be to do some coil spacers....I think u can fit 31s with that, but im not completely sure....

How much do coil spacers run? and I'm getting some 15 inch wheels. I have 14s. It worries me that they wont fit. And 31 s have a good selection of a/t and m/t tires.

I would save and go spindles there much better. But you will need at least a 15inch rim to run spindles.

How the hell are you supposed to lift a truck if its not a body or suspension lift. And what's wrong with lifting a 2wd? I personally like my lifted 2wd thank you very much

I'd do 2 inch coil spacers, longer shocks up front and 1 or 2 inch shackles in back with 31s. That's really your cheapest option. Or 30s.

I have a barebones stock 1997 2wd ranger and I can fit 31's in the back with no lift, I'm just replacing my shocks with performance ones. As for the front I got skyjacker lift coils (2") and also new shocks. I'm doing all this tomorrow with a friend and can post a pic if you wanna see how it turns out.

IMO don't go cheap.
You're already going to spend the money on 31s, make it look like it deserves em.
You can do a 3" PA BL for 170$, and in 3 hours with 3 friends and an impact gun/some commons deepsockets.
