Hello i have found a great 1985 ford ranger xlt runs awesome but bed in seriously bad shape .. what beds could i also look into to use besides an 85 any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Umm... Not to dispute Fabman, but my 81-89 parts manual indicates that generation 2's are different, different part numbers starting in 89. The mounts looked the same. It may just be styling changes. I am doing cutup work on a 92 bed to put on my 89, which is why I passed on some earlier ones.
