Default Long bed to flare side bed ?????

I did some looking around but not found the info I need yet. I'm trying to find what is involved in changing from a 93 long bed to a 97 flare side bed. And info and input would be helpful.

Flare side beds only come in 6', so you would have a big gap between the cab and the bed. Long beds are 7' and only came on regular cab Rangers but used and extended cab frame.

This swap would only be possible if you had a shortbed Ranger.

I doubt it would work, and it would look terrible..just my opinion though..

I think the Dakota bed would look good. I can make mounts for it.

dude the dakota is several inches wider than a ranger. that would look retarded, that is, if it were even possible which its not.

I'm not going to put a Dakota bed on it. I'll just have to keep my bashed in one till a good one comes in. There's two in the yard now that will fit but they have a huge dent because people don't know how to be gentle with the forklift.
