im looking for some info on a couple of different things. the first one is, are there any retailers you guys suggest for a painted grill? mines chrome and i would like a black one to match the rest of the truck.

the second is i found a painted grill at a discount auto body websight but its pretty cheap and i know you get what you pay for. has anyone dealt with any of these sights before?

i know you cant beat factory paint but the third thing is of course painting it. i would have a shop do it for a better finish. but im wondering how well the paint sticks and how durable it is. has anyone had any issues with paint chipping or flaking?

See if you can find it already painted online. You can ask if anyone is will to trade as well.

If the shop is a reputable shop they should be able to just as good of a job as factory on the grille.

If you are near a certifit, www.certifit.com, you can pick up a paintable one for pretty cheap.

Basic black plastic - I'm gonna shoot some Gloss Black on it(Rustoleum makes a paint specifically for plastic) then clear it. Looks good now, will look better glossy! You can see if they have one for your year.

^^ How is the quality on that? Seems awfully cheap money wise.
