relpace bed side, whole bed, or flatbed/utitilty bed?
I have a 1997 Reg. cab 2wd XLT 2.3 w/5 speed. And i recently got into an altercation with my dad's pressure washer, and now my passenger side of my box is basically a total loss, so my question is what is the "best" option for me, as in how hard is it to replace just one side VS the whole bed, or making a flat bed, and does anybody have any plans for a flat bed ? any input would be great.

Re: relpace bed side, whole bed, or flatbed/utitilty bed?
Depending on how much the new bed side and having it painted will cost you, that would be your best bet. My truck has a damaged bed side from the previous owner, so I pulled one from a 4wd Ranger at Pull-a-Part. Perfect condition, and it cost me $26. It was just a matter of removing the bed and drilling out the spot welds. When it comes time for me to put it on my truck, I'll simply drill out the spot welds for the old bed side, then tach weld it back into place through the spot weld holes on the new bed side. Then I'll have it painted.

Re: relpace bed side, whole bed, or flatbed/utitilty bed?
thanks for your advice, I pry would just repalce the side, cause my cousin is in college for auto body repair( free student labor ) but I have no idea where to order panels from? an also where would a guy get "pre runner"/ ralley truck style. Also here is a really bad pic of my truck on a trailer, being taken to my dad's friends house, for a new 4 banger( old one lost compression) http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...ffinyo/002.jpg

I *think* that LMC sells replacement bed sides.
