I painted my grill this weekend...finally got rid of that nasty faded look it had before.


I want to put some offroad lights behind the grill, but I'm afraid it would melt the plastic. Would a 100W light melt the grille?

negative ghost rider.. they wont melt the plastic. i've got 2 130w kc slimlights behind my grille and they've never given any sign of melting. although they do melt the faces off oncoming traffic.

Welcome to the painted grille club. Makes a world of difference, doesn't it.

edgeman4.0 speaks with wisdom, you'll be fine with them behind the grill. If you're still worried about it, you can go with some 55w Hellas. They don't melt the faces off of oncoming traffic, but they do give them a nice tan. This mod looks really good on the Toreador Red, too!
