They are factory 06+ Ranger Taillights. These ones are "niteshaded" or tinted. Can be done using a can of VHT Niteshades then spray on multiple layers of clear coat. You can also use do it yourself window tint. That method is totally reversable. The lights can be purchased on FRF classifieds, ebay, lmctruck.com, local junkyards, Ford, stuffforyourranger.com, craigslist, certifit.com.... The niteshade can be purchased at your local autoparts store or online through ebay stores or stuffforyourranger.com.

careful - with nightshade you can't see the lights as well - I have some people who've done these tail lights with my L1224R leds for fantastic results.

These are the same as above, just darker.

If u use night shade just mask off that clear part

If u use the tint method just dont tint over it

Deff Exacto knife after.. cuz once u start movin the tint around and stuff u may not know exactly where its gonna place and seat.. ya know? The stuff i used really was kinda stiff at first and it takes a ton of patience (which i don't have lol) but i used a hair dryer to heat the tint up and make it a lil more pliable. and when i did mine i actually didn't even exacto the clear part out i jus left it tited and i thought everything was bright enough.. but now after the trooper made me take it all off i actually found out i really like the look of my tails the way they are stock better than shading them out

I just got my ranger 2 weeks ago. First thing I did is use the can of nightshades on it. I always just spray the entire lens. Just easier and looks good enough for me. Dont this on all my cars. If you get pulled over the OEM number is on the taillight so they cant do anything( well they can but wont). I recently ACTUALLY FOUND a can, found it on ebay and it was 20.00 shipped i believe. Its not cheap but works very well. I also sprayed my 3rd brakelight.

Lay on the window tint over the entire lamp. Let sit and 'cure' fully. Then trim out the reverse spot. Figured that was common sense. And for what it's worth, I really don't care if the reverse is covered up, you shouldn't be using a tint so dark that you can't see out it. Go with something above 30%...generally, get the highest 'do it yourself' tint roll you can.
