definitely gonna try this out, not to smart in the body work area but do spray the clear coat before i cut out the reverse light?

you dont have to i sprayed the entire light. and to be honest i didnt even think about covering my reverse lens but i am very happy with the outcome without doing so

Typically when you spray paint or paint something in general, you cover up what you don't want painted......




There's two different methods of doing this talked about in this thread. window tint: where you cut out the hole after laying the sheet of tint down. or rattle can/spray gun: where you mask what you don't want color sprayed, then spray. Pull masking, Then clear, then wetsand.

i guess i need to clear coat mine and wet sand em cause i havent done that and they look a little rough up close

As long as the clear is put on properly you don't even need to wet sand. This 3rd brake light wasn't wetsanded after it was cleared. My tail lights came out even nicer but i dont have any good pictures of them.
