Alright here is my dilemma.... I am looking into tinting my tail lights, 3rd brake light, and corner lamps. Not too drastic of a tint job but just enough to make a good looking tint job. I am hesitant to do this because I am hearing a bunch of other members saying that the law depends on the state you live in. I live in michigan and am looking into the rustoleum lens tint spray that you can pick up at autozone. Any thoughts, suggestions, and pictures would be great! thanks...

look up michigans law on it, i also use lens tint

btw, i thought you meant window tinting. i want window tint. im thinking the max legal limit of tint you can get here.

I like the way the corner lights look on yours. I have 20% tint on all my windows and 15% on the rear panel window. I have not been stopped for my tint but I have many other friends that have been stopped.... guess flint cops like rangers more than other cars! haha sorry for not being clear in the title.

I would barely tint it... like smoke at best... you want to make sure the light still shines through super bright and I've seen it done wrong more times than I've seen it done right so be careful....

I just night shaded mine looks great, next I'm ordering some superbrights to go in the tails, but my stock lights show through okay too.

Any problems with the law yet? Also you mentioned that you were going to get brighter lights for the tails.... what bulbs are you trying to use and will they run on the stock wiring setup or will I need to do some work? haha

just some rear leds that plug and play nothing special just brighter no cops have stopped me and i have had a few behind me

just sprayed mine today and it looks great! the stock bulbs seem to show through great. I only applied two coats and I can barely see any red at all. Also sprayed my front corner lights which makes my blinker lights (closest to center) the only color other than white and black on my truck! thinking of getting a set of silverstar blinker lights that I hear appear slightly blue but illuminate orange. If that is true that will be my next adventure. will post pics later on my profile.
