"....you're at it, order the bushings that go into the upper and lower holes
to take up the slack in the pivot locks. Depending on your dealer, they may try
to tell you that you have to buy the whole kit, including the pivot pins. ($150.00).

Here'e the part numbers you should need.

The screw/washer(it's the bolts you're asking about)
W707381-S900 (they come in a package of 2, order one)

The nuts for the back of the bolts: (you need 2)
W520414-S309

The Bushings for the other 4 holes: (you need 4)
YL3Z-84286A54-AA

All said and done, the hardware cost me about $50.00"

no, that's not what I got.

I ordered the pivot pins, which self-tap into the sleeves in the center holes. The upper and lower holes are for the stabilizing pins built into the bed extender. The two bolts from Ford are around $15 or $20. I think I found them online for around $12, including shipping.

There is nothing, as far as I know, to secure the "back of the pivot pin"... nor, for that matter, any way to get something in there!

AS PROMISED! PICTURES!! haha.. The bolt is 1 1/2" long (excluding the head, 1 5/8" with the head) 1/2" is the solid piece then 3/4" of thread with a 1/4" at the end that is solid.

I forgot to check the thickness but u can determine that by measuring the size of the middle hole on those posts in the bed.
