OK I have a 2004 Ranger and have recently lost a transponder key. I had programed an extra previously, but I want to have a couple extra sets. Can I do the at home programing with the two keys I have or do I need to go dealer/bypass the transponder? I lost one of the dealer programed keys if that makes a difference.

If you only have one key, you won't be able to program a new one yourself. You would need two already programmed keys in order to program a new one. You'll have to have a professional do it for you.
