Default Mud flaps.....which way to go?

I'm getting ready to install a Gibson dual exhaust side exit........would you sacrifice the exhaust tips in the long run or would you put mud flaps on for protection?

If they go on the back would you also put them on the front?

The truck already has the small rock protectors on them but that will not protect the exhaust tips.

What say you?

Pics??????

Thanks
Dick

I personally like the way mudflaps look on our rangers.. but I would sure as hell never put them on the fron the the wheel well, unless you did a large amount of driving in reverse then MAYBE..

Also, you have another choice; side exit infront of the wheels..

I meant if you put Mud flaps on for the rear tires....do you put them on for the front tires as well.

My 2011 came with mud flaps on the back but not the front. I like the look. I'd only ever consider adding flaps to the front wheels if I did a lot of wet/mud driving.

IMO the only truck that looks good with mud flaps is the Toyota Tacoma.

I would use them in the winter. Mine got tore off on a snow pile and ever since they have come off you can see where the salt has eaten away at my bed.

We don't have that problem down here thankfully. We don't get more than 2 inches of snow so salt on the roads is unheard of

Lmao, the storm of 94
(i think) from my knowledge, we got like 10+ feet of snow. It snowed for two weeks straight i believe.
