Soooo I'm thinkin either dark shadow grey or a brighter red...any complaints or other suggestions? I'm indecisive...help me make up my mind!

Either silver or white. Here's why:

Doesn't get nearly as hot after sitting in the hot summer sun compared to a dark colored vehicle.
Hides dust and rock chips WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY better than any dark colored vehicle. I'm sick of having a dark colored vehicle for this reason.. Every chip you get from the tires flinging rocks is extremely noticeable. It makes the truck look much older and dinger than a white truck with the SAME number of rock chips. On a white vehicle you barely see chips like that. Same thing with idiots parked next to you who hit your vehicle with their door when they swing it open. I have a few of those too and every time it happens, BAM, a new grayish-white chip down to the metal that sticks out like a sore thumb on a dark paintjob. But when that happens to a white vehicle it's barely noticeable.

Bird shit too. If bird shit happens to eat your clearcoat before you have a chance to clean it up, that spot where it ate the clearcoat is EXTREMELY noticeable on dark paintjobs. On a white vehicle it's like it didn't even fucking happen. I have several spots on my paint where bird and bug shit have caused permanent damage. And I keep my truck well waxed.

i know what you mean with the white and silver...

the truck is silver now and im not a fan of it especially if im gonna do the bed liner on the bottom of the truck's body lines

if i paint it white i dont want it to look like a fleet truck...im torn by all the colors i could paint it haha

Look at Ranger_Edge's truck. With how he's modded it, it looks anything but fleet. It makes me wish my truck was white.

I have a black truck, love it but would I own another, NO! . I'd go white on any vehicle.

Not that it is any of my business, but why those colors? I feel like EVERY car I ever see on the road is black, white, silver or red. Now a GREAT red is cool, but most of the reds are just bland. Obviously my truck is Red and it is known in the family as li'l Red, so I feel almost obligated to repaint 'er a really UNIQUE shade of red. So if it's solely between those colors, that's what I recommend. HoK has a really awesome metallic red that I am eyeing. I would start there. Red is awesome because if you plan on doing a bed liner, or any body accessories, black TOTALLY goes with it if you can't color match.
