Default Removing front bushes, procedure/tips?

Looking to remove some small bushes in the front yard of my house. Nothing big by any means, probably 4 ft. Tall, lookin to hook the truck up for added assistance.

Has anyone done this before? I was thinking of getting a longer tow strap or chain & hookin it up. Only problem is the street is probably 25ft away, I don't really wanna rip up the front yard. Where to attach the strap to on my truck? Don't have a hitch, but have spots on my bumper for safety chains when towing, would that be suitable? Or around the rear end? No front tow hooks either.

Also 4 LO, do you guys suggest? How high can I rev it in LO w/o damaging things.

My main concern is 1. Safety 2. Proper procedure so I don't break anything on the truck.

Haha I know this sounds kinda dumb asking, but I would rather post this thread & ask, rather than post a thread later saying I broke something or inured someone because I didn't double check and ask for help.

Thanks guys!

Wrap the strap around the frame behind the bumper. Never pull from the axle.

We used to do this all the time with my dad's F-150. My only advice is watch the wheel spin, that'll eat a yard up quick.

Are you using the truck only, or as a second set of hands to pull?

My 3 brothers and my dad are gonna help. He did it at the last house with his Plymouth Trail Duster haha

most bushes have small root systems (except for the damn burning bush I just dug/pulled out of my yard!) and most of the time low range and idle speed is enough to pull them right out. Ive used a strap but chains work better as long as youre not going to be yanking on them. Get all the way to the base of the bush with the strap and go to town. They will likely come right out.
