Default Re: cb antenna mounting

I'm looking for some help.

I recently tried to mount a magnetic CB antenna on the roof of my '09 ranger but didn't like how it looked. I've tried putting the magnet mount in other places but there isn't a flat enough place.

Now I want to mount it in the channel along the right side of the hood. Does anyone know of a mount that will fit in that grove and still let the hood go up and down?

Thanks for your help.

i gotta 92 ranger that i just recently bought. it has an antenna in the center of the roof and its pretty small. its harwired into the truck i think because there is no wiring i can find except the wire that attaches to the cb itselft witch comes out over the drivers feet. should i leace it in or try to take it off i dont like it but it might mean something to the next owner. i will try to get a pic by the end of the night.
