Default Step Rails

PLEASE DISREGARD THIS POST. SORRY FOR INCONVIENCE.
Ay guys, um dumb question
The step rails are jus bolted to the frame rite? jus get under there and unbolt w/ a socket wrench? i won't need an impact for this rite. i havn't really crawled under there and looked yet and im gettin a body lift soon and i wanna get them off of there.

All stock ones mount to the body...so it lifts up right with the cab. Aftermarket steps: hit and miss. some mount to the body....others mount to the frame( = teh uglyness)

2dr and 4dr mount differently on the back mount, but they're all similar. Up front, it's two nuts...just loosen 'em up some but dont fully unthread the nuts. on 4dr rears, there's 4 bolts to remove...all take 15mm socket. Remove 'em, then slide the bar out. Remove front nuts, snake the bracket out of the under on the underside or pull up the carpet and fish it through the body mount(this is what I do) then you'll have all hardware just in case you do sell 'em.

What's with the "DISREGARD THIS POST" thing?

Yeah...he figured it out. Was able to pull the front stud bracket out without having to lift the carpet. The bolts on the rear brackets were a bitch. He's going to sell the bars.

how's that Jay? haha.
