Default Focus Forum no help - asking here

Anybody out there have a focus with rear drum brakes?

My buddy who's a mechanic can help me but he's super busy.

I just need to know how to get the drum off with out braking crompression the front.

he says I need to undo the 4 bolts in the back.

What year? Maybe I can find something for you online, I don't quite understand "with out braking crompression the front". But I haven't worked on any drums newer than my '88.

Well, it's not your typical drum you just pull off. It's held on with a compression nut. My friend who's a mechanics says you loosen the four bolts in the back holding the drum on. But I can't get those bolts to budge to save my life.

But I'm thinking, all that does is take off the whole drum.

So I'm not really sure
