Removed the bumper pad cleaned the chrome. Sanded it with 150 grit then used acetone and wiped it down then I primed it let it dry and sanded it with 1000 grit. Then used tack cloth to wipe it down followed by charcoal lighter fluid and a rag and painted it. No clear coat, only because the entire truck is going to get repainted within the next couple months.

i used krylon fusion plastic paint, its a glossy paint and to this day it looks great. (sprayed about a year ago)

When i painted it





Now (little dirty still sparkles when clean)

Looking good bud. I'd do that to mine but its got too many dents so i'd rather just get a new one.

I did the pad on the rear about 2 weeks ago and the trim around the wheels an the front lower bumper where the fog lights are
